There will be highway signs and police officers directing traffic to parking lots. Patrons will be directed to an available parking space by members of the Civil Air Patrol. Buses will be provided to transport patrons between the parking lots and airport entrance. Please use the buses and do not walk along the road. Parking at the airport not in a designated public parking area on the show day is by permit only. There are plenty of parking lots and shuttle buses to get you quickly to and from the main terminal. Handicap equipped buses are available. Click here for directions and more detailed parking information. Expect lines to get back to the buses upon show closure. To reduce overall wait times please plan for the delays. Expect a 15-30 minute wait upon closing time of 4PM.

The airshow parking and admittance is absolutely 100% free to all. It’s a great family event. We are accepting cash donations at all gates for three local charities: The Freedom Museum, The Virginia Airborne Search & Rescue Squad and the Civil Air Patrol: Prince William/Manassas Composite Squadron. Please consider a donation of $5.00 per adult as a contribution. No tickets are required.

We will have food vendors on site at the airshow to provide a wide variety of food and non-alcoholic drinks/water all day. Most vendors will be able to accept credit/debit cards with ATM's available on site. No alcoholic beverages are permitted. Please ensure to dispose of all trash in approved containers throughout the show area.

Law Enforcement personnel will be onsite and will have the right to check, search and inspect anything brought onto airport property at any time. Please avoid bringing over-sized bags. Do not leave any item you bring unattended.
There will be at times music, loud aircraft and announcements. Please plan accordingly and bring ear protection if you are noise sensitive.

Use of sunscreen is highly recommended. Please dispose of depleted sunscreen containers in approved trash bins that will be throughout the airport.

Restrooms will be provided throughout the public area for your use. There will be handicapped equipped/marked restrooms for your convenience.

Pets of any type are prohibited. The ramp gets hot in the sun can be too hot for animals. If you have a service dog prescribed to you and it is, certified, licensed and vaccinated, it will be permitted on the airshow grounds. Documentation may be requested.

Possession or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs on premises is strictly prohibited and enforced. Smoking is not permitted under any circumstance on the airport ramp.

Carry of firearms/weapons of any type must be in full compliance with all state, federal and local laws. No RC flying aircraft, kites, rockets, projectiles, fireworks or laser pointers are allowed by visitors.

Children of all ages are always welcome as this is a fun family event. There will be many aircraft displays and we ask that all parents keep a watchful eye on your children at all times as there are aircraft in operation. Looking up at planes is a prime time for them to wander away!

A first aid station will be in front of the main terminal on the ramp. If you need help, seek any uniformed person or event staff person wearing a yellow vest.

The airshow is mostly a walking/standing event. You are welcome to bring strollers and folding chairs/blanket to sit on with you for your comfort. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis. There are no reservations for seating.

In the case of unfavorable weather conditions we will make an announcement recommending that patrons return to their vehicles to wait for the weather to pass. In the case of a popup severe weather emergency please follow the guidance of all airshow staff and public safety personnel to shelter areas. The show has a rain date of the 6th and monitor our Facebook page and this website for rain date announcements (see below).

The use of our rain-date, May 3rd, will be announced no later than Noon on the 1st of May (Friday). All published times will be the same except that the day referenced will be May 3rd (Sunday).
